Honk! is an indie punk band from the Inland Empire of Southern California made up of only the finest clowns the scene has to offer.
Featuring lead singer Frankie Nicole, Samson Oats on rhythm guitar, Anikka Alvarez on lead guitar, Julia Hibner on bass, and Orion Mecozzi on drums, each member in the band has deep roots in the local music community, making Honk! an impenetrable force to be reckoned with.
While the band exists as a musical project, Honk! was born purely out of a need to combat the innate fear of being judged. In an era of social media where we’re all under the constant threat of surveillance, the band aims to cultivate a community where anyone could feel safe to let their inner clown fly. To wholeheartedly accept the quirks and “flaws” of human existence and give in to cringe. To be cringe is to be free, and Honk! is on a path to freedom.
